Once you know where you stand, with the help of the Holy Spirit you can define a plan for growth that is realistic and relational, tailored to your particular situation. Individuals are unique, and there is no one method or program that fits every person, church or organization. The Assessment is designed to give the individual and the community a portrait of where they are in their growth in Christ.

Pastors and leaders, this Assessment is a helpful resource as you fulfill your particular Purpose, Vision, Mission and Goals (Your Master Plan or Strategic Plan). The Dimensions and Outcomes can help shape how you disciple, but they are not a replacement for the Spirit-inspired goals your community is fulfilling.

As you define a course of action, pause and realize that discipleship is not a program, but a way of life – a vision of believers fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) through lives shaped by the Great Commandment of Jesus (Matthew 22:37-40). The Assessment will help you select the right books, schedule effective classes and discern the best illustrations and resources for sermons.
